Explore ways to figure out your Act Three
In this newsletter we explore ways to help you figure out your Act Three. Many women feel that what they are doing now is not totally fulfilling. They are seeking more purpose and meaning in the way they spend their day but are not sure how to find what's next.
In our July Newsletter we offered our “Act Three Test” which quantifies how important it is to you to develop an Act Three. You can still take that test. [click here to take the test]
An excellent book that understands this issue is I Could Do Anything If I Only Knew What It Was.
Also, join us on September 16 in Chicago and September 30 in Cincinnati for our new workshop Discovering Your Act Three. In just one morning you will walk away with a much better understanding of yourself and a plan to move successfully into your Act Three. [click here for more info on the workshop.]
Finally, many older workers are considering unpaid internships as a way to get back to work. Is this for you? Read below to learn more.

Act Three
Starting Fresh with an Unpaid Internship
Does this sound like you? You were a career woman, then a mom, and now you're wondering what will act three of your life hold? Maybe you'd like to go back to work but want to try a new field or maybe you have been out of work so long that your industry has moved on or your past skills are rusty.
An unpaid internship could be an excellent way to get back into the workforce. Internships are typically designed for college students but some older workers are trying these out as a way to gain new skills and expand their networks.
Many nonprofit community leaders have expressed interest to me about hiring women returners as interns. This can be a win/win in that it helps the non profit and helps the women.
One website that provides good info on internships is Interns Over 40.
